  This is a rating for the men's clothing, as that is what I buy at Stein Mart. SM has reasonable prices for the products they sell. Their sales are not great sales, but then Ross never has any sales. For example, Tommy Hilfiger chino pants. Price at Macys: $59. Everyday price at SM: $35. That would be better than many sale prices at Macys. When they have a good sale which is not very often, the deals are very good. And their non-sale prices are standardized. Casual slacks are $35. Most shirts are $25. Some are $30. So they are one of my favorite stores to shop. I also shop them online and can return things that don't fit to my local store.
